Pine Lake Preparatory High School and Lake Norman High School hosted 11 teams at Lake Norman Yacht Club for the North Points 2 Regatta on November 1, 2014. The teams raced in flat water with a steady 17 knot breeze, and gusts to the 20's with heavy mist blowing across the course maintained the Halloween feel. Air temperature in the 40s and water temperature in the 70's. Teams completed six races per division. Lake Norman's Max Thompson / Will Bowden and Jacob Thompson won A division while Wando's Austin Ando and Carter Cameron handily won B Division. Two protests and one redress for breakdown were heard by Judge Cooper Pavia.
