PCISA #1 Sea Otter Regatta - Gold

Summary

Saturday, October 11:

Racing was briefly delayed in the morning to wait for the wind to pick up, which happened right after 11am as the sun began to break through the clouds. Silver fleet completed 8 races and gold fleet completed 10 races in 6-10 knots of breeze.

Sunday, October 12:

Sunny weather and light breeze welcomed the sailors on Sunday morning. Due to the large swells coming in to the beach, the rotation area was moved to the Coast Guard harbor to facilitate easier rotations. The breeze slightly increased throughout the day, allowing silver fleet to complete 4 races and gold fleet to completed 6 races. It was a beautiful day to be on the Monterey bay!

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
