Nice conditions allowed a full day of racing on Raritan Bay. A strong outgoing tide and a light wind for the first few races meant that many boats were forced over the line and resulted in some general recalls. The I flag which followed kept the sailors in order with only a few boats having to go around the end at the starts. Initially we ran 3 leg courses until a 90 degree wind shift made RC move the marks reverting back to the more traditional 4 legs. Less current on the left, more wind on the right was the trade-off for the rest of the day.
