South Points 5 Junior Varsity

Summary

Saturday, January 10:

South Points 5 had 33 boats out on the water, which included teams from all over the Southeast United States. The event was hosted out on beautiful Biscayne Bay near the Dinner Key Channel. The wind started out light in the morning, at around 5 to 7 knots from the north, picking up to 9 to 12 knots gust as high as 16. Rotations occurred on land on the next door property. Spectators and Coaches were also situated with the sailors next door, making it the center of the action. Breakfast and pizza were served by Ransom Sailing parents.

Please note that due to limitations of Techscore, Winter Park High School is actually the Lake Eustis Composite Team, and is scored under SAISA Supplemental Rule 5.3.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
