Due to the high northerly winds of 17 kts with gust to 25 kts and waves 5-6 ft high, racing was postponed for the day at 10:30 am. We will continue the racing tomorrow. The report time will be 7:00 am Sunday, Sept 13th.
We started racing early today due to lack of racing Saturday. Six races were completed in both 420 divisions and seven were completed in the laser fleet. Light and variable NNW winds challenged sailors on this beautiful sunny day. Congratulations to the sailors from Arrowhead, Lake Forest, Wayzata, Minnetonka, Kettle Moraine and U Chicago Lab Schools for securing a berth to the Great Lakes Championship. Further congratulations to Arrowhead for qualifying for the Lawrence A. White trophy at the Coast Guard Academy.
