Saturday was sunny in the mid 50's, with wind out of the west at 4-8 knots. With an shifty breeze in direction and varying wind speed, the Race Committee was able to keep a square course with very little interruption between flights. A full round robin of 12 teams was completed for a total of 66 races.
Sunday was overcast with rain sprinkles. Racing got underway on time in 5-8 knots from the southwest. The fleet was divided into Gold, Silver and Bronze. A round robin was completed within each group. In the afternoon the clouds cleared and the breeze freshened. The Gold group completed a second round robin to determine the MASSA Team Race Champions for fall 2015.
We would like to thank Annapolis Yacht Club and Severn Sailing Association for the use of their 420s and facilities, without their support and cooperation, the regatta would not have been possible. Thank you to Charlie Arms for serving as the PRO, Carole Robinson as our Chief Umpire and her great team, and the many individuals that volunteered with race committee.
