The day started with a postponement for the wind to fill. One race was abandoned in the morning, but continuous races were held starting at 12:30. The first set was sailed in 4-5 knots, and the last set of the day saw 8-10 knots. 20 races were run. Races were 15-22 minutes in length. Windward-Leeward courses with gates. One request for redress was filed, but denied. No other protests. Racers hit the dock at 5:45pm.
The breeze took much longer to arrive today. Multiple races were abandoned in the morning, until it filled from the North at 6-8 knots. 8 races were completed in A Division, but only 7 were able to be started in B Division before the cutoff time. One protest was filed for redress and granted. A big thank you to all of the PYSF parents who helped run the regatta, from moving marks, scoring, flipping burgers, etc. A true team effort!
