NorCal #2 - Sunday, October 4, 2015 The 2014-15 NorCal league season continued with Norcal #2 at the Encinal Yacht Club on Sunday, October 4, 2015. Sixty-one high school teams (31 Gold Fleet and 30 Silver Fleet) arrived to another beautiful autumn day on the Oakland-Alameda estuary. Calm conditions delayed the start of racing until westerly breezes finally prevailed and racing commenced at 1330 hours, with winds building from 5 to 11 knots through the afternoon. Seven gold fleet and six silver fleet races were completed during a great afternoon of racing.
Many thanks to the EYC volunteers for hosting NorCal #2 and regatta experience, both on and off the water.
