Summary

Saturday, September 5:

Races started at 1100 in a consistent 8-10 westerly. 2 Races were sailed on a W4 course before switching to a W4 with a modified leeward mark. 5 Races were completed before going a shore to wait out a breif rain squall and lighter winds. Races resumed at 1500 in a building breeze. The day finished out with winds in the mid to upper teens. 9 races were completed before retiring to the beach for a BBQ and the famous grilled "Burkers."

Sunday, September 6:

The day started under postponement as weak winds kept sailors on shore. Races started shortly after 1030 in a 6-10 knot westerly. The day proved to be much harder than the previous day, with large shifts and changes in velocity coming from both sides of the course. After 3 races in the radial fleet and 4 more in the full rig fleet, the winds died back completely. Sailors remained on the water until the 1500 deadline for last warning signals.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
