SAISA South Great Oaks Qualifier

Summary

Saturday, October 10:

Thirteen teams attend the US Sailing Center Martin County for the Great Oaks South Qualifier. Ten races were contested on the Indian River Lagoon in a light and shifty westerly breeze, with prolonged lulls following some brief rain showers. The fleet of club 420s were outfitted with matched sails from the sailing center, and spent the day sailing windward leeward courses with offsets and gates with separate start/finish lines. Congratulations goes out to Gulliver Preparatory School for placing first and sailing a terrific event. Good luck to the three teams qualifying for the Great Oaks event (Gulliver Preparatory School, South Fork High School and Coral Shores High School). A special thanks to all the volunteers and staff from the Sailing Center that made for this event possible.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
