Racers, coaches and supporters were greeted with sunny skies and warm breezes on Lake Champlain, making it the perfect fall day in Vermont. The teams dealt with shifting winds and choppy conditions throughout the day.
The day ended with CVU in the lead with 30 points and Portland High School in an incredibly close second place with 31 points.
Congratulations to all those who participated and a special thanks to the staff and families of the Champlain Community Sailing Center who made this all possible.
Sunday was another picture perfect fall day at the Community Sailing Center. The racers were faced with another day of shifty breezes, making for challenging sailing conditions.
The Portland High School Bulldogs took first place in the Fall Fleetrace with the conglomerate team from Southern Maine in second.
Thank you to all the sailors, coaches and supporters who came out for both days!
