Six races were sailed on Saturday in a 5-12 knot NW breeze. Racing was incredibly tight and the boat handling steadily improved throughout the day. In multiple races, 3-4 boats finished overlapped on the downwind finish line.
Sailors were postponed on shore to let the breeze settle down a bit and were eventually sent out around 10:30. Then final four races were sailed in 10-15 knots of breeze. Racing was tight with Corona Del Mar showing consistency in the dying breeze taking home the win. Thanks to Chief Judge Phil Pape and the St Pete Yacht Club for hosting a great event.
