Winds were strong for the day's races with heavy overcast skies. Rain and thunderstorms held off, but the winds were gusty! S 9-15mph for the first races, with gusts over 17 around Noon. Winds lessened slightly later in the day as they shifted to W, and immediately shut off at the start of the last race, but filled in a few minutes later.
Five races for each division were held. Races were primarily W/L 2 on a .30 mile Modified W/L course. We were able to squeeze in a W/L 3 for the last A-Division race! Unfortunately, the wind immediately shut off for the B fleet's 5th race. Their last race was started in light air with few ripples (3mph+), and a few enterprising sailors read the air and made great advances. The wind filled in after the first rounding and the race completed successfully.
It is noted that a protest was filed for unsportsmanlike conduct during the final race. The issue was apparently addressed by coaches, but the R/C was unable to verify this as competitors had left the venue by the time the R/C returned to shore.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
