2016 Norcal 3- Gold Fleet

Summary

Saturday, November 5:

NorCal #3 - was hosted by the Encinal Yacht Club on Saturday, November 5, 2016 . Fifty-seven teams (29 Gold Fleet and 28 Silver Fleet), representing 40 NorCal high schools, arrived under sunny skies and calm conditions.

Great racing on Saturday, starting on time, with six races completed for both fleets. Forecast for light breeze was a little off, and we enjoyed between 5 and 12 knots of breeze all day, with flat water. A minor flood caused some current to run downwind on the course.

Quality racing, great weather, and outstanding food made for a terrific regatta for sailors, coaches and parents alike. Many thanks to the EYC volunteers for hosting an excellent event, both on and off the water.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
