The WaterFront Center, Oyster Bay, NY played host to four NYISA-SE teams for the Fall Team Race Championship & District Qualifier on Saturday, Oct 1. A thorough competitors meeting was held to explain and review the 2-flag umpiring and penalty procedures. Sailors took to the water at 1000hrs in boats with color-coded sails making viewing and keeping an eye on the competition a breeze.
Two complete Round Robins on a Digital N course were held in an E/NE breeze ranging from 10-15kts. Some right-hand shifts, puffs and wave surfing kept competitors engaged on the course. Great sailing by all!
