11 teams kicked off the Fall 2016 season in Central Ohio at the Thomas Worthington Central Ohio HS Sailing Regatta. Racing began promptly at 10:45 in 10 knots of breeze with warm temperatures in the low 80s. The temps went up, as did the breeze, hitting 18-20 knots after lunch. 6 races were completed in both A and B before sailors were pulled off the water after hitting 25 knots during the 3rd set. A couple of minor breakdowns, no protests and smiles abound as we wrapped the regatta and sent kids home by 4PM.
Many thanks go out to all of the volunteers that helped pull off the first official MISSA regatta ever hosted in in Ohio. Coach Jamie Jones was our overall chair and organizer, Doug Squires (TWHS) was our PRO, Shilah Griffeth (WNHS) was in charge of food, Brooke Olsen (OLHS) crafted our trophies, and Sarah Hoctor (TWHS) for navigating TechScore and designing the sweet t-shirts for the event. We look forward to seeing all of our new friends at our Girls Only regatta in October.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
