SAISA South Points 1

Summary

Saturday, September 17:

One and one half sets were completed in 3-4 knots of variable early breeze after a postponement ashore. After a further postponement on the course a solid 8 knot sea breeze filled to allow the completion of four sets total before the sailors were sent in after 1800hrs. Congratulations to Riverview for the win in a fleet of 26 Varsity Teams in the first event of the 2016-2017 SAISA South Points Series. Thanks to Judge Skip Ryan who held several hearings resulting in no disqualifications and redress granted for three boats due to equipment issues. Two teams DSQ'd all races without a hearing for violation of PR 4.2a,b and SAISA SR 5.2. Also Thanks to Charlie Cushing for his help as Boatswain, all of the onshore volunteers and Race Committee provided by the Davis Island Youth Sailing Foundation and the staff and members of the Davis Island Yacht Club. Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
