The day started on time with consistent breeze from the north at 6-7 knots. Breeze built and shifted to the east as the day progressed, building to 10 knots. The races went smoothly and we ended the day at 4:00 with 9 races completed.
Sunday started earlier with racing beginning at 10:00 am, with 8- 10 knots of breeze out of the north east and temps in the low 80's. Races went smoothly running 4 additional races, ending around noon.
Thanks to all of the volunteers from Lakewood Yacht Club and a few others volunteering their time & support boats with running this regatta. The Sea Scout Base Galveston was the host providing wonderful facilities for the regatta.
Ford McCann from Episcopal Houston HS was dominant winner with Carson Shields from Clear Falls HS coming in a solid 2nd place.
