Winds were consistent throughout the day. At 1000 hours prevailing winds were from 80 degrees at 4.6 m/s with gusts to 5.1 m/s. By the end of the race the wind was at 70 degrees with an average wind speed of 4.1 m/s and gusts to 4.6 m/s.
On the Varsity course, 18 A/B teams representing 12 schools completed 6 races W-4 in each division. Norfolk Collegiate teams 1 and 2 took first and second place respectfully. Norfolk Academy Team 1 took third place.
