The VISA Poquoson Fleet Race Regatta was held in near perfect conditions beginning with SSE winds of 6-9 mph building to ESE 8-12 mph with gusts to 16. Seas were a gentle chop early in the day building to nearly 2 feet at times by the end of the regatta.
JV and varsity races ran simultaneously on the same W4 course. 8 varsity teams from 5 schools competed along with 14 JV teams from 9 Virginia high schools.
Varsity completed 6 races in each of two divisions. Christchurch Team 3 took first place, followed by Christchurch Team 2, and Christchurch Team 1 in third place.
JV completed seven single division races with Christ Church Team 1 taking first place followed by York in second and Norfolk Academy in third.
