Overcast and dense foggy conditions delayed the start of racing to 1:38 pm. A light southerly of 5 knots and lifting of the fog allowed the racing to commence. The breeze veered to the right and strengthened through the afternoon eventually building to 10 knots. Because of the time restriction W-2 races were run in each division allowing the completion of 2 sets in each division. Falmouth won the regatta with Yarmouth one point behind. Since Falmouth had qualified for the ACC's at the Polar Bear Open Yarmouth captured the ACC slot from the Casco Bay Fall Open. The competition was good and spirits were high. Falmouth parents provided a wonderful breakfast sandwich breakfast from the grill and a hearty lunch for all competitors and coaches.
