The day started with a question and answer session with Dave Perry who shared his knowledge and discussed light air boat handling and several rules situation. Immediately after the sailors were shuttled out to our island dock and rigged up 13 FJ’s. Racing took place a couple hundred yards off of St. Mary's point in Black Rock in 4-6 kts out of the SSW. Although the wind was light it held through the day and allowing us to get in a total of seven races. After racing ended the hungry sailors chowed down on Peps's Pizza, with refreshments provided by the official drink of Sail Black Rock, Regatta Ginger Beer. In the end, Fairfield Ludlowe sailed an impressive series to come out on top, followed by North Kingstown in second and Cape Elizabeth in third. The sailors were awarded gold, silver and bronze rope bracelets in the awards ceremony. In addition, Sail Black Rock raffled off a Team Oracle hat signed by Jimmy Spithill and a poster of Oracle's AC72.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
