Kick Off Classic

Summary

Saturday, September 9:

1st Midwest High School of the Fall 2017 Season went off with out a hitch. Wind - 12-20 Southeast with very little movement. Seas - 4-7 foot swells, diminishing as the day continued. Starting on time, the RC got in 8 B races and 8 A races, ending around 4:30. The Protest Committee had 5 filed protest and heard all 5. All 5 resulted in no scoring change.

Sunday, September 10:

Great end to the 2017 Kick Off Classic today. Winds - 10-12 Southeast with no movement, Seas 1-2 feet and sunny. Congrats to our 1st Place team for earning a spot for the Atlantic Coast Championship. Also the Top 5 MISSA Central Teams earned a Berth to the Great Lakes Championship at the end of the season hosted at Chicago YC. We could not host the regatta with out the support of the Wilmette Harbor Club.
