NJISA 2017 Fall Wed Series #6

Summary

Wednesday, November 1:

Twelve NJISA high schools, making up 18 teams, competed in the final Wednesday afternoon series of the 2017 Fall season at TRYC.

Under cloudy skies, but seasonably mild temperatures (allowing November 1st sailing with board shorts and T-shirts) , each division completed three W4 races in a 5-8 mph Easterly breeze before the 5:54 sunset.

The Ranney Panthers ended the local series on top again this week with a total of 13 points, winning both A & B divisions. The Toms River North Mariners had a run of good races to finish 2nd for the afternoon with 18 points, with 2nd place finishes in each division as well. The Southern regional Rams rounded out the top three with 23 total points from their 5th place A division and 3rd place B division finishes.

Thanks to all teams' sailors, coaches, families and friends for a great season. Many thanks to Dave Magno for leaving work early on Wednesdays to help out and as always, thank you to TRYC and OCC for the use of their facilities, fleet of boats and continued support of high school sailing.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
