NJISA Wed Fall Series #4

Summary

Wednesday, October 11:

Ahead of Saturday's fall league championship, 14 schools making up 18 teams completed six total races on Wednesday afternoon in a shifty 8-12 knots of northeast breeze.

After a mix of W4 and W3 races, the Ranney Panthers won the afternoon with 22 points. Rumson-Fair Haven took second with 28 points, followed by Donovan Catholic winning a 33-point tiebreaker with the Christian Brothers Colts for third place. The Colts won the A division with eight points, while Southern Regional 2 won the B division with nine points.

Thanks to CBA alumnus Jonathan Lutz for running the races and Dave Magno for patroling the course and taking upwind finishes. As always, thanks to Toms River YC and Ocean County College for the use of the facilities and fleet.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
