The first day of the Cressy Radial Qualifier had five sailors compete in 6 races. The weather was partly cloudy, with 4-7 knot winds shifting back and forth between 45 and 120 degrees throughout the day. All races were clean, with no protests filed after racing completed for the day. Race Committee returned to the dock at 4:15PM, due to threatening weather building from the Northeast.
All racing cancelled due to inclement weather.
