Fall Scramble Regatta

Summary

Saturday, September 16:

A picture perfect Fall day on the water. WNW 5-8mph winds held fairly steady with a few mark changes throughout the day. 1 hour sets with quick rotations allowed for 12 total races, 6 in each division. Racing started at 10am and concluded at 4:30pm. 1 protest filed and few OCS to note in the scores. A huge thank you to Race Committee volunteers: David and Candace Porter, Marie LeRoy, Terri Isabell, Jordan Gray, Dave Byczek, Paul Fischer, Bob Beres and Vincent Lambert. Pizza lunch was in abundance!

Sunday, September 17:

Sunday was greeted with cooler temps, light rain, and NE 8-10mph winds. Sailors were all eager to get on the water for a 9:30am first warning after the rain stopped. Steady breeze allowed for continuous racing throughout the day allowing for another 10 races, 5 in each Division. A huge thank you to Race Committee: PRO Steve Dolan, Cristine Smith, Terri Isabell, Allison Blackwood, Jordan Gray, Tom Pomierski, Stephan Kiss, and Vincent Lambert. Pasta lunch was delicious. Congratulations to Jones College Prep as the top placing teams. Go Packers!

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
