Great Saturday at the Mac Bay Wooden Shoe! Weather was ideal: sunny, topped out at 75. Winds proved to be a slight challenge for our RC as there were four course changes over the 5.5 hours of competition. Winds were mainly out of the ENE which was nice for our north-side of Lake Macatawa set up, but started at 5mph, build to gusts of approximately 22 by mid afternoon and then backed off to a manageable for lighter boat crews 14 by the last B rotation. Many thanks to our esteemed RC for handling the hard work on the water (PRO Scott and Lisa Corder, Ryan TeVelde, Gunnar Bracelli, Tess Stanek, Hannah Hopf), land crew (Blair Nykamp, Kendra Hackney, AJ and Stephanie Chrisman, Ben and Tasha Fris, Lisa Pearson, MBYC staff) and coaches Cappy and Hannah for making it a great day!
