A light and variable SW gradient defeated the SE Lake Breeze, leaving light and shifty conditions. Combined with left over waves and chop the sailing conditions were trying. Only 2 races/ division were completed in the morning and the afternoon was spent looking & hoping for more wind.
No racing occurred on Sunday. Sailors waited for any signs of sailable breeze until 1:30pm. In the morning an emergency SIs Amendment was posted making 2 race/ division constitute a regatta. Congratulations to Lake Forest High School, Latin School of Chicago, Saint Ignatius & Jones CP for qualifying for the Great Lakes Championship.
