Races commenced on time. The wind was moderate from the northwest. 5 races were sailed by 10 schools in a total of 19 boats. The Great Oaks Qualifier and the 420 Open divisions sailed together and were ranked afterwards. Results were: GOQ 1st - Ft. Walton, GOQ 2nd - WMS Wright, GOQ 3rd - Rocky Bayou; 420 Open 1st - St. Stanislaus, 420 Open 2nd - St. Stanislaus, 420 Open 3rd - Fairhope.
Note: Unregistered SEISA 1 and 2 were from Pontchartrain Yacht Club and therefore did not sail for the GOQ.
