Roy Williams Invitational Regatta

Summary

Sunday, October 22:

Racing started on time at 10:15 in a gusty 15-20kts. After the first rotation a few 25kt+ gusts ravaged B-Division on their sail to the course prompting a limp back to the dock for a short re-group after which racing resumed. The remaining races were completed in shifty conditions ranging from 15-25kts. In total, 6A and 6B races were completed on course 3's and 4's. Huge thanks to Ace Bailey for his work in keeping the starting line under control and to the heroic efforts of John Alofsin and Taylor Rock in rescuing the countless capsized boats. At the end of the day, the St. George's Dragons made their eponymous coach proud and won the inaugural Roy Williams Invitational.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
