VISA Grafton/York JV Fleet Race Regatta

Summary

Saturday, September 30:

VISA welcomed 17 boats from 10 different schools for this JV event. The day started off with cloudy skies and occasional light rain/drizzle with 8 to 12 mph northerly winds out of the north with some higher gusts, building to 12-16 mph with gusts into the high teens. The rain finally stopped mid-morning as the wind built slightly throughout the racing. Seas were relatively flat.

First signal was at 930AM followed by 9 single division W-4 races. Racing concluded just before 1:00PM. Congratulations to Bruton High School for finishing in first place, York High for taking second place, and Tabb High School for capturing third place.

Thanks to Keith Goodwin for serving as PRO and to all of the volunteers and coaches that made this event possible.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
