Six races were completed with sailors rotating through a round robin. The day began under a brief postponement as the wind velocity increased and settled into a consistent direction. Wind conditions were good, with velocity beginning at 6 knots out of the northwest, building to 13 knots by race 3, and decreasing in the second half of the day to approximately 8 knots. The racing area was adjacent to the eastern half of Harbor Island in the San Diego Bay.
No racing on Sunday.
