Saturday’s racing started under challenging conditions with light, shifty winds from the south and a strong current affecting the fleet. Despite the tricky conditions, three races were completed before the wind died down completely, and rain set in, forcing the day’s racing to end early.
Sunday brought a welcome change, as a steady northerly breeze filled in, producing ideal racing conditions. With a consistent NNE breeze and whitecaps on the course, six solid races were held, giving the sailors a great opportunity to showcase their skills in the stronger winds.
The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
