A beautiful late summer day welcomed 27 teams to the MISSA Great Oaks Qualifier regatta at Hoover Sailing Club in Columbus, OHIO. After a brief postponement on shore waiting for the breeze to fill in, we completed 6 races in each division before the 4pm cut off in light NW winds. 2 protests were filed, one disallowed, one withdrawn and 1 breakdown awarded for a broken tiller extension universal.
Congrats to the top 7 teams for moving on to the Gold Fleet.
This regatta completed on Saturday.
