Perfect sailing conditions today with wind out of the East at about 15mph. Gusts got up to 20mph in the last race, which saw multiple capsizes in the heavy Lake Pontchartrain chop. Big thanks to the Tulane sailing team for running the race committee boat and for helping the high school teams launch and retrieve the boats. Tulane also had a separate start an ran their own scrimmage in FJs on the same course. Also, thanks to Southern Yacht Club for providing the matched set of 420 sails.
