VISA Hague JV Fleet Regatta

Summary

Saturday, September 7:

VISA’s first JV regatta of the new school year welcomed 11 boats from 6 schools who met at Norfolk a yacht on the Lafayette River. Temperatures stayed in the 70s with rain thought out the morning. Seas were flat, winds from the South shifting South, Southeast variable with heavy oscillations at 3-10 knots with gusts barely higher.

Racing on JV started shortly after 9:30AM. The race committee served up 6 one division W-4 races. Hampton Roads Team 2 captured first place. They were followed by Christchurch School in second, and Norfolk Academy Team 2 in third.

Many but thanks to the race committee and especially to PRO's Andrew Stillman and Dorothy Ballard.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
