The ILCA 6 fleet completed four races on Saturday out of New Bedford Yacht Club in Dartmouth, starting at noon in warm mid-70s temperatures with scattered clouds and a light to moderate 6
On Sunday at New Bedford Yacht Club, the ILCA 6s got off six races starting at 10:00 a.m. under partly sunny skies and a southwest breeze of about 7 to 10 mph. Early in the morning the wind was steady but moderate, supporting clean upwind legs and demanding close attention to shifts and pressure. As the day wore on, the breeze held well, allowing full race cycles without major lulls or collapse, though localized puffs and headers continued to reward tactical acumen. By the later races, the fleet’s success hinged on adapting to subtle shifts, managing lane choices, and maintaining boat speed through the evolving conditions.
The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
