SAISA North Points #4 - JV/Composite

Summary

Saturday, December 6:

Charleston Harbor greeted our regatta participants with cool temperatures, intermittent rain, and light winds on Saturday morning. Conditions remained unraceable until around 12:45PM, when the wind established itself at 5-6 knots from the Northwest. The Race Committee team set a windward-leeward course just south of the Carolina Yacht Club harbor, where the sea state was flat and there was a bit of relief from the strong ebb current.

The varsity divisions completed 3 races and the JV/composite divisions completed 2 races in the light and tricky conditions. Lucy Beckham and Chapin ended up on top of the 18-team varsity fleet and 13-team JV/composite fleet, respectively.

Thank you to all of the volunteers, sailors, and supporters who braved the unpleasant weather in order to make this regatta happen!

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
