Clear blue skies and a brisk WNW breeze greeted us this morning and held on for a great day of sailing in Marblehead harbor. 9 races were sailed in both A and B division in conditions that started off as a blustery WNW and worked down to a very tricky NNW at the end of the day. A few requests for redress were filed but none were granted. Congrats to Marblehead HS, Duxbury, MERHS, Falmouth(ME) and St. John's Prep for qualifying for round 2 in Newport! A special thanks goes out to the MERHS team and coach Kieran O'Connel for lending some 420s and helping make the event run smoothly.
