Port Townsend Open

Summary

Saturday, May 9:

We had a beautiful sunny regatta today at the Maritime Center in Port Townsend. A warm wind filled in from the north-northeast about noon, then remained pretty steady from that direction at about 6-8 knots most of the rest of the day, with occasional increases to about 10 knots. We ended the day with 14 windward-leeward races averaging 15 to 20 minutes long each, with 20 boats in each race. 92 sailors had a great time today. Thanks to the Maritime Center, and to Sugar Flanagan and all the crew who helped host and run this regatta.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
