The SAISA Brunswick Open Regatta was held in the East Brunswick River at Brunswick Landing Marina in Brunswick, GA. Twelve teams competed. The Hilton Head Prep team was actually a composite team, with Hilton Head Prep sailing in B Division, and Richmond Hill sailing the A Division races. At the start of the day it was cold and windless, with a layer of frost covering the boats and dock. But it was a clear and sunny day, and warmed up quickly. Racing was postponed for three hours until a seabreeze from the SSE came in, starting at 3-5 knots, and building to 10 knots by the end of the day. Six races in each division were completed. There were no protests. Congratulations to Wando High, taking first place overall and in A Division, and to Beaufort High, taking first place in B Division! And many thanks to all of the sailing team members, parents, and coaches, and to the volunteers from the Golden Isles Sailing Club, who made the regatta possible.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
