VISA NCS/CCS 2v2 Team Race Regatta

On Sat. April 18, 2015, sailors representing 11 schools met at Norfolk Yacht and Country Club to compete in 2v2 and 3v3 team racing regattas. Five teams competed in 2v2 team racing and completed three round robins with Norfolk Collegiate School taking first place, followed by Nansemond Suffolk Academy in second place, and Smithfield High School in third place. Eight teams competed in 3v3 team racing. One complete round robin along with a silver and gold round resulted in a three way tie for first place. A sailoff resolved the round robin with Norfolk Collegiate taking first place, Christchurch School taking second place, and Norfolk Academy taking third place. Winds were 8-12 out of Northwest with gusts to 16mph.
