2022-23 PCISA SoCal 5 Gold

Summary

Saturday, March 18:

Saturday, March 18: Saturday: We had sunny skies and sheet glass out on the shoal until about 2:00, at which point a nice, crisp westerly picked up and PRO Beka Schiff (with help from RC volunteer Brian Janney) was able to start cranking out races. Conditions were brisk and kids were hiking and (mostly) staying upright.

Sunday, March 19:

Sunday, March 19: Sunday: Both fleets were hoping for a bit more breeze today; we got four races in before the wind shut down and starting clocking erratically. By the time things settled, we were close to the cutoff time, so we headed in to the beach. Thank you to all the competitors, coaches, parents, and race officials/volunteers who helped us make it to the end of another successful SoCal Series.

Congratulations to series winner Zarrin Flowers and crews Jillian Kaufman, Isabel Lewis, and, Joshua VanWaardenburg who brought home the Robert Anderson Trophy for Corona Del Mar High School!

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
