Saturday started off with about 8knts of breeze out of the north, and the course was tucked next to the B'Hai beach. All day long the race committee chased the wind to the right, but by 2pm it was fully East and starting to shut down. Regardless, we managed to get 3 full rotations in about a 4 hour time span. A good time was had by all, and Walter Payton are the 2023 IL State Champions. Congratulations to them, and their coach Bridget Groble. Many thanks to all of our competitors and parents. Also, thank you to coach Dalton, coach Olivia, and Race Committee volunteers, Joe Nedoss, Johnny Wallach, Mason Allen and Wendy Donahue. As always, thank you to Jeri Traub, Katie Traub, Hyde Perce, and the Wilmette Harbor Association leadership and staff.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
