Dick Levesque Maine State Team Racing Championship

The day started off overcast with breeze shifting frequently between S and SSE at 7-9 knots in the morning, building to 12 knots in the afternoon before dying around 3:30 when it started raining. It was a full day with 36 races completed.

Based on the pace races were completed from Day1, it was decided that round 2 would be completed and if at least 80% of round 3 was finished before the cut off time those races from round 3 would be counted. Day 2 was sunny with moderate breeze coming from the West and progressing to the North over the course of the day, resulting in significant shifts coming off of the land. While shifty, sailors had a fairly consitant 8 - 10 knots for most of the day before it began to lighten up around 3:15. In the end, 2 full rounds were completed for a total of 56 races, and round 3 was dropped as only 32% of the races were finished.
