The day started with a consistent breeze from the southwest on the Anacostia River. Wind angle oscillations and patches of extra breeze made for competitive conditions throughout the day. At the start of the 6th B division race, a pop up thunderstorm cancelled the final race during the first upwind beat and ended racing for the day. All sailors made it swiftly and safely back to land.
