NESSA Girls' Championship (Herreshoff Trophy)

Summary

Sunday, May 28:

A steady breeze from the SW allowed Race Committee to complete 8 full A/B races in the time allowed just off the Alofsin Pier at Fort Adams State Park. This allowed for great spectating and quick rotations. Thanks to Race Committee Brad Donnelly and Chris Crane for efficient race management, thanks to Nick Ewenson for helping with breakdowns and preparing all of the on water equipment, thanks to Joe Cooper for corralling the protests submitted, and to Amy and Mary - 2 experienced Judges - who were willing to zoom into a complicated Protest Hearing.

St Georges took an early lead, and fended off Greenwich Academy's relentless challenges, to 'three-peat' as the Herreshoff Trophy awardee. Congratulations to the Dragons for their hard-fought win.

Score history

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.

The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
