The 2-day event began with steady breeze around 15 knots with gusts over 20 knots; rainstorms delayed the start time until after 1PM on Saturday May 20th. The winds continued as teams made their way out on the water once the rainstorms had passed. 16 races were completed by the end of the day.
Sunday gave the competitors a welcome relief from the rain with sunny skies and continuous moderate winds from the Northwest at 8 to 10 knots. 16 more races were completed by 1pm.
