The Sharon Invitational was sailed under sunny skies and temperature in the 40s. Winds were NNW with velocity of 7-10 mph most of the time with an occasional dramatic lull or puff. The first two sets of each division saw only minor course adjustments, but shifts of 20 degrees each way during the races. Bigger shifts of longer durations for the latter part of the day had the RC chasing the wind and moving the course frequently. By 3:15 a dying breeze couldn't find any consistent direction, and the regatta was finished with 6 races in each division. There was one DSQ on only one protest. Sharon was the wire to wire winner, with Winchester pulling away from Wellesley in the battle for second and third. Thanks to the my assistant coach and the visiting coaches for RC help and protest adjudication - Matt Johnson, Tony Leggett, Joe Griffin, Kyle Reviezzo, Larry Lovett, Bob, Foley.

The following chart shows the relative rank of the teams as of the race indicated. Note that the races are ordered by number, then division, which may not represent the order in which the races were actually sailed.
The first place team as of a given race will always be at the top of the chart. The spacing from one team to the next shows relative gains/losses made from one race to the next. You may hover over the data points to display the total score as of that race.
